Daniel Chervoniuk is an editor, coordinator, screenwriter, filmmaker, and enjoyer of the MTA Christmas train. When he is not collaborating with creatives on short / long term projects – drafting outlines, synopses, treatments and scripts – he’s hoping it’s December so he can ride the MTA Christmas train.

Chervoniuk is a South Dakota-born first generation Ukrainian-American who likes to focus on stories involving identity, grief, and love. He’s a 9-time award winning creative with storytelling versatility, having garnered international recognition for his 2021 feature script “Saint Paul”, his 2022 short film “LET ME”, and his 2024 short story “Carbonara”, amongst other projects. As a low-income first generation college graduate from NYU Tisch, Chervoniuk has a chip on his shoulder to succeed in the film industry in order to help provide for his family, as well as a deep-seated desire to ride the MTA Christmas train.
